I bought a high black knit cardigan from valley girl and the buttons came off will they give me more if i ask?

if ur wondering how the buttons came off then here it is. I hung my label new cardigan in my wardrobe and when i closed the door the buttons on the sleeves slamed against the end of the door and all three buttons came off kaput. BTW i bought this last night.
